The wedding of Manaf and Sara took place on Lake Como. I love Lake Como, there is nothing better than a walk on the lake, to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape, including flowers, green, lake blue, clear waters. Nestled between the Alps, Lake Como is one of the most evocative of the planet. Also there are great restaurants, places to stay and a great atmosphere at sunset.
Manaf and Sara of Dubai, chose Villa Pizzo as the location of their marriage. A ceremony not classical but symbolic, an exchange of rings between the two lovers under the eyes and the love of their parents, friends and relatives. This Villa known as "Villa Pizzo", was built between in charming villages of Cernobbio and Moltrasio. It has a very important historical past. On July 9, 1435, Giovanni Muggiasca, a merchant of Como, acquired a vast land that was rich in vineyards and olive groves, not far from town, stretching from the shore of the lake till the peak of the hills, crossing Via Regina, the main road serving the entire Lake Como. Villa Pizzo it is a seventeenth century villa overlooking Lake Como. Surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden with avenues shaded by mature trees and beautiful landscapes. Its charm has the sense of traditional reminiscences, which are wrapped up from the prestige of the aristocracy and in its excellent halls where in the past philosophers and musicians discussed, brings back the wonderful stillness of yore.
One of the most important characteristics of Villa Pizzo is his garden. The garden extends to the level of the two main buildings, the main house and one building on the east side have an Italian arrangement, with tidy paths that travel through flowerbeds, and baroque fountains. The largest park is easily accessed, just beyond the outbuildings of the Villa d’Este: from here, a small driveway offers a succession of exotic plants, aloes, orchids and other rare plants that climb from steep the cliff, from where it continues along the ‘Avenue cypress’ with an artificial cave with water. Going down the street, the park turns north-east towards Moltrasio, through a thick forest of tall trees. Wherever roads and paths intersect, they create an arabesque that takes place between bridges, ponds and streams. How can you not fall in love with this place? It is a lovely place to seal the dream of love in an exemplary manner. I took the opportunity to take most of the photo shoot, discovering it slowly with Manaf and Sara. This beautiful wedding on Lake Como made me breathe the air of celebration and joy that there should be at each event, the love and affection of family and friends around this lovely couple, always smiling. Finally, it was refreshing to see this piece of paradise with the eyes of this young couple. I hope they stay that way for all the moments that await them.
