Everything about Santa Monica sizzles, from hundreds of funky shops and restaurants to more than three miles of white sandy beach, to the multitude of celebrities zipping into the local airport and out on Montana Avenue. The subject of popular songs, movies and television shows (“Baywatch” was one of many filmed here), the city has a vibe like no other. And here I am, this time my job brought me to Santa Monica to make family photographs. I already knew Yelena and Jonathan, I was the photographer of their wedding, after about three years they wanted to meet me in California to get to know the new family member, the tiny Ellie. A loving couple who has just enlarged the family. Mom and Dad, full of joy, they want to capture these first rich moments of love.

Being able to capture photographically the accord of a family is rare, complicated and fascinating. They are people who love each other and get in touch with them is a mere matter of feeling. I prefer to portray while joking, laugh, play or tease. As it happened with Yelena, Jonathan and the baby. Ellie, has enchanted me with her thousand expressions funny and contagious smiles, among endless kisses of mom and dad, she has been patient to my shots. Between smiles, hugs and lots of happiness I realized spontaneous and sweets images. A family photographs in the privacy of their home and not only.

The location of family photographs has been the Santa Monica coastline, long walks taking advantage of the beautiful sunny day. The photo shooting began on the famous Santa Monica Bridge, where you can admire a truly unique landscape. At sunset time, you will see a sun huge dive into the Pacific and you will wonder if it is possible to be better than this. One moment: it is possible. And right here. After the jetty we moved to Malibu Beach, El Matador. A lovely beach. El Matador is not the Californian beach (of the movies) that you expect: (large and with the lifeguards positions) but is very particular with its beach and rocks that create a very impressive setting, spectacular at sunset. Thanks to the landscape has been easy to give all my best to get some beautiful family photographs, beautiful images that a family wants as good memories for the future.
