-Exclusive And romantic wedding-
"Scott & Nancy -21 November 2015 - Florence"
I love this wedding, as it was an exclusive and intimate wedding. Our couple Scott and Nancy wanted to celebrate their love here in Florence, Tuscany with a symbolic wedding that concerned only the two of them. In fact there were neither witnesses nor guests present; instead, Maria and I were the only invited guests. Scott and Nancy are truly an amazing couple, they have lived together for eight years and share a beautiful house and a Doberman fur baby named Chloe. Their love for wine, culture, and travel made it extremely easy for them to finally decide to have a romantic and intimate marriage here in Tuscany, our little slice of paradise within Italy.
The ceremony for their intimate wedding took place at the tower-house also called “Antica Torre di Via Tornabuoni”. It was built in the mid-thireenth century in the heart of Florence and is just a few steps away from both the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio making it the perfect setting for a wedding. Although the building boasts a prestigious address, at Via Tornabuoni 1, today it is also a historical residence full of charm and stunning terraces which offer stunning 360 degree views of the city. Among many others, it provides an unforgettable view of the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore, the hills of Fiesole and Settignano, and the Santa Trinita Bridge and Via Maggio.
After the ceremony, the photo shoot took place in and around the beautiful streets of Old Town, offering both enchanted and delicate details full of history. On their wedding day the weather was fairly strange and for a brief moment I feared it would rain during the celebration, wetting everyone and everything. But the weather was kind to us nonetheless. In the end, although the weather was a little strange, it provided one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in Florence.
I want to thank Maria Martus, for her company and her creativity that she always puts forth into her photography. I also want to thank all of the people who have worked tirelessly to make this special day.
