The wedding of Annica and Kees took place in Montisola or Monte Island on Lake Iseo. I love Lake Iseo, there is nothing better than a walk on the lake, to relax and enjoy the beautiful panorama, between flowers, green, blue of lake, clear waters.

Today I would like to tell you something about one of the most beautiful Italian Lakes…
Nestled in the greenery of Franciacorta, Lake Iseo is a reference point for international tourism and it is the ideal place for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
It is wonderful by day thanks to the green slopes of the mountains that seem to be born from the water and rise up to touch the sky with their tip. It is stunning at night with the glare of lights reflected in the calm waters and their majestic tranquility. It is really a jewel of nature!  The lake Iseo is gorgeous also for the presence of an island, Montisola, the largest island on a lake in Europe. In Montisola are not allowed cars, the only way to visit the island is by bicycle or by bus. Anyone can walk the coast on foot enjoying the silent green and spectacular panoramic views of the Brescia coast and the Bergamo coast. Annica and Kees have decided to celebrate their wedding at Castle Oldofredi, in one of the island’s historic centers, Peschiera Maraglio. Peschiera Maraglio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. In this picturesque village it is still possible to enjoy past traditions, in particular the history of fishermen, the production of fishing nets and the construction of the fisherman’s boat called “naet”.

The wedding took place at Castle Oldofredi.  A ceremony not classical but symbolic, an exchange of rings between the two lovers under the eyes and the love of their friends and relatives.  The Castle offers a beautiful view of the beautiful landscape surrounding it. A location immersed in the tranquility with the beautiful lake terrace and still the area around the pool, surrounded by olive trees.  It is a lovely place to seal the dream of love in an exemplary manner. This beautiful wedding on Lake Iseo made me breathe the air of celebration and joy that there should be at each event, the love and affection of family and friends around this lovely couple, always smiling. I hope they stay that way for all the moments that await them.
