When Francesco and Monia contacted me to know if I was available for the photo shoot of their wedding in the heart of Tuscany, I was immediately enthusiastic. Despite having already immortalized the most beautiful day of many couples, returning to Val d'Orcia for a new wedding means discovering hidden corners, colors and scents that change constantly with the changing seasons.
Francesco and Monia are a young and in love couple who chose the estate of Abbadia Sicille as the location for their big day. Francesco has prepared himself in the house where he grew up on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in Castiglione del Lago together with family and friends. Monia and her bridesmaids have been relaxing since the morning in one of the apartments of Abbadia Sicille.
The mood of the wedding in Val d'Orcia of Francesco and Monia was to be together with their loved ones and party in a chic but relaxed way. It was immediately clear to me that after the ceremony I would take the newlyweds on a tour of the countryside between Pienza and Trequanda. Looking for the perfect natural setting. The warm colors of the wheat fields and the green vegetation of a late and windy afternoon at the end of July were the perfect scenery to capture the day of their wedding, with the light of a splendid sunset in Val d'Orcia.
After a long aperitif by the pool at sunset, four imperial tables awaited guests in the main Abbadia park. The pastel colors of the floral arrangements and the light of the candles were the ideal setting for a dinner in the name of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition.
The couple decided to move to the Abbadia cloister for a cut of the cake collected and romantic. Made even more magical by the light of dozens of sparkling stars distributed to the guests and lit up as passed by the bride and groom .
Then began the party in which everyone danced until late at night, accompanied by the music of a band.
